Mission Experience for High School Juniors

The Pontifical Mission Office in the Diocese of Scranton will be sponsoring their annual faith-based summer mission experience for High School Juniors from July 9-21, 2012 in the Archdiocese of Castries, St. Lucia, West Indies. Criteria for applicants and “How to Apply” instructions may be obtained from the Parish Office or by logging onto the Mission Office website at www.dioceseofscranton.org and click on image in mid-center of the page you are taken to. Help for Unhappy Marriages

If your marriage is tearing the two of you apart; if there is little or no meaningful communication; if you are considering separation or divorce, Retrouvaille can help you. Retrouvaille is helping couples put the pieces back together and rebuild loving relationships. The next local weekend program is February 10-12, 2012 at the Fatima Renewal Center, Dalton. Good Shepherd is asked to supply tea bags and mustard. Also, coffee in one-pound containers is in short supply. 60 families are being helped through out the valley with your help and generosity.

Items needed: coffee, pumpkin, yams, peas, jelly, fruit cocktail, rice, cake mixes, corn, instant potatoes, green beans, vegetable and tomato soups, and canned pasta.
