“One Ministry… Two Locations”
St. John Bosco /Good Shepherd Parents Meeting with Fr. Jack and Brian
Saturday, August 21st, 5:30 PM
St. John Bosco Classroom
This meeting is for parents that would like to continue to support the Youth Ministry for the upcoming year.
To all of the Students/Families & Parishioners of St. John Bosco and Good Shepherd Parishes:
After much thought and prayer, I have accepted the position of Regional Director of Catholic Youth Ministry for the Kingston, Plymouth, Swoyersville, Larksville and Luzerne Parishes. This will be effective September 1st, 2010. This was a very difficult decision – to leave a community that has become my second family these past 4 years. THANK YOU for the warm welcome and kindness that you have extended to me!!!
It has been an incredible 4 years here at St. John Bosco and Good Shepherd Youth Ministry… Through your hard work – YOU have created a Youth Program that has touched the lives of hundreds of people throughout our communities and far beyond! Some of the most memorable times for me are: the Summer Mission trip to West Virginia, the Lock-Ins, Mission at the Mansion, Fatima Retreats, Coats 4 a Cause for Catholic Social Services, the Diaper Drive for the Mother/Infant program at Catholic Social Services, ‘N’AP DANSE ANSAMN’ – raising funds for 3 Catholic Charities in HAITI, all of the cookies baked for local charities, your continued support as volunteers of the monthly breakfast, coordinating and attending the annual Light the Fire Summer Youth Rally and most importantly your presence in both of our parish communities, and much, much, more!!!
Grow in your FAITH LIFE and continue to be the awesome INDIVIDUALS that God made you to be!!! Let your word be golden, and your actions speak louder than any words – and you will go far in life!
Take your Youth Program to the next level, and continue to serve others and do great works… You are changing lives by your presence – I am a better person today for knowing each and everyone of you and your families!!! THANKS A MILLION FOR THAT!!!
Please pray for me as I make this leap of faith and start a new chapter in my faith life. Be assured of my continued prayers for you and your family!
I hope I get a chance to see you all before I leave the end of August.
Peace my friends,

Brian
